Not how you make a platformer. The deja vu gimmick where the level's gameplay repeats itself should have been justified... or atleast change something else than the decorations. Speaking of, while they are impressive, I find them to be very unfitting, especially in a mode like platformer, where precision and readability is much more needed. The only interesting concept I could highlight were the spinning spikes and the ending sequence, the first one being kinda cool but also a bit boring given it was once again, the same thing repeated over and over, and the latter was pretty unique but sadly nothing really came off from it than just the visuals... I hope this fail won't discourage cherryteam further from making any platformers, I think they just need a different approach, because right now things are very messy and too cluttered.
There was an attempt but honestly this just doesn't translate well into GD. Could have flipped it over and try to get inspired by it, instead of ripping off all the ideas. It is also very unclear what to do at times, and the stylistic choice of making it layout-like doesn't cut it for me either.
