No! Bad Darwin. Bad Robtop. The assignment was not to make Camellia a music video. Next time, make gameplay that is actually challenging in the right ways and is actually playable by people who do not have superhuman tolerance to flashing lights. EDIT: the gameplay is not nearly as bad as some other mythics and levels with extremely bright visuals so I raised my score by 1.
I've never really understood the praise for this level. Sure, it looks good, but plenty of other levels look good while not being completely horrendous to play. This level just is not fun at all with gameplay elements that appear out of thin air and long spam sections. My leading theory for why a bunch of gameplay elements are hidden until the last possible moment is they do distract from the pretty backgrounds this level has. However, geometry dash levels should have gameplay and hiding it for the purpose of highlighting non-gameplay elements is antithetical to the game's purpose.
