Rating Curve

The designs and animations are so good looking, not much else to say outside of that though.

Awesome level I unfortunately cannot enjoy as much as I'd want to because of performance issues (even in ldm).

Looking back on this level, I find quite a bit to criticize about it, but I still remember being in complete awe while first seeing the level when it first came out. Before watching this, I've not been exposed to many levels outside of the GD world featured tab so seeing this as a new player was a whole new experience. Even now, The Far Sky looks genuinely beautiful and is perfectly matched with a song I love. It's a shame the gameplay is a complete afterthought in most parts (I think some gameplay in the drop visually is very fitting with the song).

This is actually pretty cool, I find the effects to be appealing. Rare case where the remake has so much more personality than the original (Sonic wave).
