Plays more like a 9-star than a demon. Not that that's bad, mind you; the gameplay was pretty good except for the really sudden transition into the computer screen part that probably caused a majority of my deaths from 0. It could probably get away with being a 9-star if it weren't for that part and the bossfight — scratch that; it ought to be a 9-star; those parts don't make it that much harder. The deco looks rather unsettling (particularly in full detail, where you get to see all the spots of blood), but I guess that adds to storytelling.

Strangely enough, the thing that feels the weirdest to me about this level is the deco. It looks very good, but something about it just doesn't feel like it matches the song. It'd probably go great with a more techy-sounding song, but Retrospective is not a particularly techy-sounding song. It feels like it wants more vibrant colors. The gameplay's mostly alright (albeit a little bit hard to read in places), and again, the deco is high quality; it just doesn't match the vibe of the song.

Song rep could be better, particularly towards the end. It feels like it should be more energetic there. Also, the flowers look like they should be bouncy and I was kinda disappointed when I didn't bounce on them. The theming is nice, and I do like some of the ideas presented; it just feels a little static sometimes.

I'd say everything matches the song pretty well. The deco fits the atmosphere of the song perfectly, and the gameplay is synced pretty well. I even thought the car noises in the first part were actually part of the song until I listened to it to check. The sideways part is a little hard to read, due to the fact that nobody is accustomed to playing the game like that, but there's enough indicators to make it not too frustrating.

It's fine, I guess, but my experience was dominated by how laggy the level was — even on ULDM. The visuals are very good — the transition from the UFO part to the part in the office building is particularly clean — but I would appreciate it if they were better optimized for lower-end devices. Nothing much of note regarding the gameplay, especially given I could barely focus on the gameplay through all the lag.

I like the atmosphere in this level, and the gameplay is pretty fun. What I don't like is the balancing. This level is extremely first-half-heavy, which can make it a frustrating experience to play. The UFO part in particular is really learny and still feels inconsistent even once you've learned it, and the wave part also feels a little inconsistent at times. The memory part throughout the second half, on the other hand, is basically free (provided you remember what you need to do). At least the first cube/robot part is fun.

It's a very pretty level, but there's a couple things that kinda bring it down a little for me. For one, the song feels kinda samey, so you don't really get any feeling of progression. Additionally, a couple parts are a little hard to read for various (mainly deco-related) reasons — the one that stands out the most is that the pads in the second part look exactly the same as some other decorative lines with no gameplay function whatsoever, so it's kinda hard to tell what does anything without going through the level in practice beforehand.

I like the theming, but the gameplay leaves a lot to be desired. It doesn't really feel like it syncs up well with the song, but most of it is tolerable. The bossfight, though, is not only a choke point, but it also feels out of place — the rest of the level just showcases different exotic fruits, but now all of a sudden you're fighting them. I mean, sure, durians don't have the greatest reputation, but surely there was a way to make that part without forcing in a bossfight. And then on top of all that, instead of focusing on the primary theme of the level, the endscreen goes and focuses on that durian in its garbage truck again. Other than the bossfight, though, it's fine.

Pretty good level, I suppose. It looks clean and plays well, but honestly, it doesn't really feel like it stands out a whole lot.

Not bad. Pretty generic, but the gameplay is nice. The one thing I think is weird is that the title card is really different from the rest of the level, and it doesn't fit in very well.
