The visuals in this level are impressive. It looks very menacing, from the violently flashy drop to the various evil-looking motifs used throughout the level to the overall malware theme, and the effects all look very cool. What it nails in aesthetic, though, it makes up for in legibility. The 3D part in the beginning, due to the fact that you're going into and out of the screen instead of across it, is really hard to read — I actually had to count my clicks in the UFO part to get past the error bar in the middle. And the flashiness throughout the drop makes it not only hard to look at when you're learning it, but it also makes it hard to see the gameplay, and when you die, you may not be able to tell what you died to. Couple all that with some really easy parts in the middle (the swing part is still kinda hard to learn, but not too unmanageable) and some really long cutscenes, and this was a surprisingly boring experience for me. You spend ages learning the level, and then you die a bunch of cheap deaths from 0 before you beat it in normal mode.

Super cute level. I mean, it's a level themed around ducks; how wouldn't it be cute? And besides, Knots always nails his deco. As for the gameplay, I thought it was pretty fun. Perhaps not perfect; the transition to the second part feels a bit sudden, especially given you're expected to click really fast in that part, but I thought everything worked pretty well with the song.

The visuals are very striking, and the base gameplay is fun (for the most part). There has to be a better way to make the level feel exciting, though. It is effectively impossible to read this level because the camera makes a big sudden movement every few seconds, meaning you can't really see what's in front of you. Yes, it adds some dramatic flair to the level, but at the cost of legibility. It's still fun once you learn it, but maybe it would have been better to be more subtle about certain things?

This level stands out in a lot of ways. The visuals are very impressive, for one. Furthermore, the fact that the level consists almost entirely of vertical gameplay is pretty noteworthy; it makes you think about the level differently than if it was just left-to-right. And then there's the fact that half of the level is barebones mini ship gameplay thinly disguised as a minigame, and it actually somehow still feels fun. Maybe it's just that it has a different feeling, or maybe it's that the different effects make everything feel more impactful, like when you go through the rings and the sound effect plays. In any case, it somehow pulls it off.

Beautiful level. I love the atmosphere, and the progression matches the song very nicely. It's long, but not too long, and it feels really good to play. Kinda reminds me of some of cometface's stuff, like WELL RESTED.

A nice progression-oriented take on the hell theme. It's a little less obvious what the theming is supposed to be, since a lot of it is more purple than red, but if you know what to look for, you can tell. Considering that, though, it feels a little too connected. It doesn't really feel like you're descending at all; the whole thing feels like it takes place in roughly the same area. And regarding the cutscene at the end: it's impactful the first time, but after that (and you do have to watch the whole thing at the end of every practice run), it just feels drawn-out.

It's kinda impressive how many subtle ways this level finds to be hard to read. Let me list what I can remember:

  • Blind transitions

  • Objects materializing in the middle of the screen (as opposed to moving in from the right and being visible the whole time)

  • Bad camera movement (the camera zooms in soon enough right before the last part that it was kinda hard for me to tell that I needed to jump one more time; maybe that's just a me problem, but I wanted to point it out)

  • Objects that look like they should have hitboxes being intangible with no indication of such

  • ...Whatever was going on in the last swing part

Other than all that, the gameplay was fun enough, and the deco looks good. I don't mind the first swing part; you actually have enough time to react to everything there.

Not the most visually interesting level. Although it does cycle between the colors, any one moment is pretty monochromatic. The designs are pretty basic too. It does have some interesting moments in the drop, most notably, the wave part where everything gets squished together when you go through the mini portal. And the gameplay is pretty fun; everything is synced pretty well — especially the UFO part — and I like that the swing part does some interesting things with orbs and stuff to keep it from getting stale. Overall, probably not the most memorable level, but it's reasonably enjoyable.

This level is certainly an experience. You start in a clock tower and then you get on a train and a bunch of cool-looking stuff happens and then you get to the train crash part and you think, "the story here seems really haphazard and directionless, but it sure does look really cool." And I guess that's all it really needs to do. As for the gameplay... I originally gave it a 9/10, but looking back after recording my showcase for YouTube, I'm a bit confused as to why I came to that conclusion. It's not particularly fun; it's passable, but the sync feels weird in some parts, other parts are completely illegible and basically have to be memorized, and the cutscene in the middle is way too long and probably should've been replaced with something containing actual gameplay. It's just... not particularly great.

Beautiful. Best story I've ever seen in this game. I suppose it also helps that I've taken a liking to butterflies as of late. In any case, the visuals look good, the gameplay feels just like a browser game you'd find on Coolmath Games, and the ending is just so beautiful. Highly recommend this level to anyone at all. Seriously. Play this level.
