Some of the text comes off as needlessly edgy, but ignoring that, this is still a very expressive level. I do like a lot of the artistic choices, like the opening ship corridor where you follow a light that leads you into a saw and the last quarter where everything's on fire and falling apart. I feel like artistic works generally turn out better when they have strong feelings put into them, and Zoroa seems to do that a lot. (Probably part of why he's my favorite creator.) In terms of gameplay, I found it a bit frustrating at times, but it was pretty fun overall.

Don't have much to say about this level. It's mostly just a generic early 2.1 level, although it does have a couple more memorable parts. It's also strangely fun. It doesn't look like something that should be fun, and yet I enjoyed beating it somehow.

Beautiful level. You can really tell how much thought Zoroa put into this. The gameplay is super fun (albeit a little bit learny), and every part feels like it expresses to the fullest extent how much Howler means to Zoroa in a different way. Awesome level overall.

I feel like this level falls into the same pitfalls as a lot of early 2.0 levels. It tries really hard to be very visually appealing, and while I'd say it's very successful on that front (although I personally think it feels like a mishmash of various themes/settings, particularly in the drop), that comes at the cost of sightreadability: there's no way of knowing how to do a decent amount of the gameplay without practicing it beforehand. Fortunately, it's pretty easy to play once you know what to do (unlike some early 2.0 levels), although the abrupt transitions do still bring it down somewhat for me.

It's been multiple years since I first beat this level. I loved it then, and I still think it's pretty good now. This level has some of the best dual gameplay I've ever seen: it's super interesting (especially the asymmetric duals!), it's pretty well balanced, and it keeps all this up for two whole minutes. I also like the visuals; they're super polished and look amazing (especially on full detail), and they strike a good balance between serious and silly. (Some might say the entire level is filled with catfaces, but to that I respond that levels like lodin da fish washer and If Among US Was Lv 2 exist.) Overall, super fun hard demon, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relatively easy hard demon or a level to practice asymmetric duals.
