I really like the idea behind Polychrome. Taking the colors of the orbs and depending on the color of the RGB, it turns into that color specific orb. Also making interesting usage of CMYK with the rest of the orbs too. It's a really cool gimmick surrounding the two color modules.
I quite like Flap, and Zap, and Crap- uh... sorry, Crud actually. But Scrap is my most favorite amongst the GeoStorm level collabs. There's a lot of different stylized parts in this level. From Thomartin, to Radiation, to Pauze, to what in the ever living fuck is this mbed? Quite the distinct styles in this level, but all follow the space theme. Every person's decoration feels like you've entered into some other parts of space, like in mels' part where the aliens are seeking to construct something here, or AutoNick's part where at one point you're in the water of a planet you are currently in. What planet is that? I don't know, and I think nobody knows, it's probably just some random planet. All parts follow the space theme, but they are distinct enough to compliment the creator's style. The gameplay itself is quite the basic one honestly, but some parts of the gameplay are quite interesting to say the least. At one point in mbed's part, the ship can turn auto and then all of a sudden you're in a mini wave part. This part of the wave requires you to have key timing when holding and releasing at the moment the structure points up, & the camera stops moving. In an extreme demon, you wouldn't see something like this, but here, it works pretty well. And that's my overall thoughts on Scrap. Thematically cool and very distinct in styles, and the gameplay, while basic, has their interesting moments.
I honestly find myself playing this quite a lot on occasion. This level has a vibe in which I really like. It's all cartoony fun and games with this one. A lot of references, a lot of different artstyles, a lot of fun routes to take when going for the coin. Next Cab Soon has a lot going for it, and it's incredibly fun. Surprisingly, I don't consider this one of my favorite Easy Demons, but it's definitely an honorable mention.
Balancing is kinda wack imo, but I really do enjoy Biru still. It has an incredibly beautiful ambiance despite making use of only one singular color, and the atmosphere is complimented really well with its song and decoration.
Can't believe I didn't get to reviewing this yet up until now, but here we are........................... and reviews over folks. Go home.
No but like fr, how do I even review this level? I think a lot of the stuff that people say, most of it has been said already, and I feel as if I'd just bloat more of the praises it gets if I talk about it. I guess if you wanna know if I consider this my favorite Insane Demon, far from it tbh, but it's song rep is unlike any other. On a similar level of song rep like Well Rested, but not really on the same wavelength as Well Rested.. if you get what I mean. Idk, just... this level is incredibly solid.
