Damn, this level really is Generic. But its a good kind of generic if I'm being honest.
Meanwhile on the opposite side of the spectrum, THIS is a good tribute to Michigun. This does a lot of right that Rest In Peace laughably misses in its entirety.
It's a representation of the Temple Series, given updated visuals and being accurate to the kind of Temple it's representing. The gameplay, though not my favorite, it has almost everything that the Temple series had. The familiar 3 jump structures, the triple spikes, fake outs, and some representation of what the other Temple levels had, like in Forest Temple, you jump on the head of the monster, and in Lava Temple with the tricky as hell ball timings.
I really appreciate this level. This feels like it is being faithful to the series while having it's own original ideas. Not with the intent of doing it for the attention, but doing it to properly pay homage to Michigun, a long gone, but never forgotten member of the GD Community.

I'd thought I would share a different opinion compared to other people when I first saw this level, but uh... nope, I am in heavy agreement with it's low as hell rating.
This is not a good tribute to Michigun at all. It doesn't even try to be a tribute. It's just... sigh. I can't believe this word is coming out of my mouth, but this right here? This is indeed a soulless level. Like, no passion coming out of this at all. It's just... a meaningless level that just feels like they were trying to gain attention by using his death as means for creator points.
Also, WHY THE FUCK ARE THERE RED ORBS NEXT TO THE TRIPLE SPIKES AT THE END????? LIKE HELLO??? WE ARE THE FUCKING ROBOT GAMEMODE, WHY THE FUCK DO WE NEED THE EXTRA ORBS???????
I'm a keep it a buck 50 with y'all. This is indeed not a bad level, but imo, it is above average. Worst legendary? Nah, not even close.
I do find it funny that Rob has some sort of bias towards this level. Idk what the hell he sees compared to what we see, but it's funny, so fuck it.
As someone who unironically thinks Sonic CD is a good Sonic game, this level represented Stardust Speedway's Good Future really well.
