Mama mia, that’s a spicy layout.
Exasperation is brilliantly bad; I can’t help but admire it. It also features one of the most out there Newgrounds songs in any level.
Flipswap Factory is pretty cool! I like that more knowledgeable players can take skips.
dorabae-basic7 manages to be both unpolished and genius at the same time. I constantly think about it and come back to it.
For a 1.3/1.7 level, The Nightmare is pretty decent.
Hollow is one of Quazery’s best levels, with interesting, varied parts, great music representation, and a very unique ending that’s almost overwhelming to learn on your own. It’s a bit simple, but I think it’s effective.
Generation Retro is one of the most infamous gauntlet levels thanks to its flawed execution and Colon’s review (which, by the way, he doesn’t hate the level), but it still has charm. The gameplay has some hiccups, but it isn’t too bad after a practice run. The theme is somewhat creative, and having a story is ambitious for 2.0. Its reputation has only made it even more memorable to me, and while I wish he would fix the more obvious issues, I hope ArathhSA knows this level has its fans.
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRS is yet another otherwise unremarkable level that received an artificial boost in popularity, this time being one of the biggest secret ways in a demon. While the main path isn’t very difficult for a demon either, it’s rather unbalanced and unplaytested; I found it annoying to learn. NeoSweet even acknowledged the poor transitions in the description, yet never fixed them. The decoration isn’t anything special for 2.1, but it gets the job done.
If you’re interested in the easiest easy demons, I suggest not doing this as your first.
