Rating Curve

Recreations are far from groundbreaking, but I would never in a million years think to recreate the experience of using the str2hax exploit to homebrew a Wii in Geometry Dash. The sound design is also pretty on point, and any media that gives Nintendo a middle finger gets a thumbs up from me. I do wish the Wii Menu had channels though; leaving it empty feels lazy.

Some of the most fun non-demon gameplay I have ever touched. Love love love this

(My score only considers the animation. The concept suggested here is okay, but not my preferred route for overhauling the rate system.)

This remake of Grains of Sand is one of my favorite repetitive levels, and while I like this more than pocke’s old version, I’ve lowered my overall score here due to the decision to make this version auto. Removing the ability to get in the groove with this level’s gameplay, to soak it in… why? Despite that, I am still willing to give this version a 5/10 overall, a testament to how much I like the refinements here.
