a "hidden" gem when it comes to easy extremes, no idea why no one ever talks about this level. since i first found it like 3 or 4 years ago, it has been one of my extremes of all time and i frequently get questioned why. long story short, im an early 2.1 nostalgia chud, and every early 2.1 level to me is like the greatest thing ever made. this is the prime example of that, as this was kinda the catalyst level to me appreciating early 2.1. the gameplay in this level is also surprisingly really good, but this was also because the level was updated like a billion times to fix bugs and balance (lame). its also kinda song carried because i love this song and every level that uses it and is also kinda nostalgia bait

probably the funniest level of all time, i beat this level for I Think 40k stars a while back and everything about this level is actually insane. the art being as good as it is is hilarious, and the fucking creator lineup this level has is crazy. i mean this level has funnygame, jonathangd, partition, davjt, the list goes on. and i just checked, VIPRIN verified this??? what the hell

the deco being incredibly inconsistent in quality only adds to this, but the part of this level that makes it as funny as it is, is how BADDDDD the gameplay is. like i know this is early 2.1, but like every early 2.1 level honestly can be pretty fun. THIS however, is so unimaginably dogshit gameplay wise i have no idea how it got verified and nothing was fixed. it is ridiculously unbalanced, you can skip like literally everything, the worst click patterns and combos, everything about it is terrible. a normal person would notice this and give it a bad score but im not normal hahahahaha, finding qualities in levels that can be looked at under a comedic lens is something i want more people to be able to do, everyone takes levels too seriously.

there is something so fresh and remarkable about this level

no one makes levels like this anymore, and this level deserves to be cherished as it is one of the best levels this game has ever seen. the feeling this level pulls off will never be replicated ever again. these new big levels like skeletal shenanigans and all the other mythics will never know what its like to be a REAL level. i look back at this, and realise we peaked here. it only went downhill, but maybe that's a good thing. being able to appreciate the true spectacular creation as a one of a kind thing is somehow even better. this level will change your life so if you haven't seen it yet, you absolutely have to.

so glad i got the opportunity to playtest this because imo the gameplay ended up being way more polished than sergio's past 2 lse levels lol

in my top 3 favourite levels of the year (redeemer, wretched, this) and now that i'm actually here writing the review i realise i dont have that much to say oops

probably the best extreme demon platformer visually, i have a hard time putting it into words how gorgeous this level is but its actually fucking crazy

no level ever will have the same vibe as this, and this deserves to be appreciated by so many more people

writing a multi paragraph review for my own biological child feels wrong, so i wont say anything other than this might be the best level in history ever

reviewing my own level is lowkey ego but for the most part i am kinda proud about this level

i mostly just had fun making the level, cus i had a lot of help from friends (thx kaley and iownfish) and was just putting a bunch of silly ideas into a dumbass level

um every event after i released this level (twice) has been like realllyyyyyyy sad which is why i dont really want to release a level like ever but i have to remember the process of building it was fun and not focus on how bad it was after

don if it was finally good

i already wrote like a billion words on why i dont like don, and ex basically does everything in don better. better gameplay, better deco, better optimization (i was able to beat on full detail :3), and is just like... better.
