something I will never understand is how so many people will hate like they've never hated before on what's obviously a joke level

not to say that ur not allowed to, I just really dont get the perspective

about the level itself, I think its pretty funny but has like story to me so its even funnier

I was scrolling thru magic or sent tab one time and found a level called mission b and I thought it was the funniest thing of all time, so to see it got a high budget remake was insane to me and only made the level better

the gameplay is also like absolutely nothing at all which I feel helps a lot for some unexplainable reason, really gives it a "lifeless" factor

deco wise if i were to try and remove the comedy aspect is decently impressive. obviously the art is impressive but the transitions and effects help it a lot

this level is fine I guess but everyone else seems to overreact I dont really get it. would do a lot better with more upgrades that lessen the super linear experience it is

visuals are honestly pretty nice even though theyre each like 12 objects, im also very glad this got rated cus its very funny seeing people's reactions over a level that really isnt that bad (another example being really fun baseball)

incredibly frustrating knowing a lot of this level is kind of just ripping off an already existing game. i think this level is one of the most fun levels ever made and looks amazing to go with that, but knowing that it's basically just a remake really kills it (also not to mention the original game i dont even think was originally credited lol)

giving it a 5 but it would be a 10 with original ideas

this level was my first introduction to sergio and also longestsoloever (THE GOAT) because i saw that whizkid verified the coin. at first i wasn't the biggest fan of most of the level but the first duet dual with the shifting camera was and still is the coolest thing of all time. what feels like such a simple idea somehow has never really been done in gd before, at least not to a degree like this

throughout time i started to love this level more and more, and it is now one of my favourite insane demons ever. the song rep in this level is basically as best as it can be, and the fact that it carries this song rep through 2 different endings is crazy. im in love with the idea that each person in the song is represented in the gameplay by a different player (2p level). this idea is carried to the absolute peak in the final dual for the coin and is just incredible.

i also really appreciate that this level introduced me to lse, one of my new fav artists of all time and quickly became one of my most listened to artists ever

anyways, this level is very strange to me. on its own, watching this muted is pretty damn cool. love how unique a lot of the parts are and how often it switches up, very interesting and very cool. the gameplay is also pretty good for the most part, i can definitely tell endlevel had something to do with it though (bad thing). some parts i so ridiculously free, and then some parts (THE 65 WAVE) are the hardest things ever made. still pretty fun overall (also this is still my 10th classic hardest with 2 extremes LOL)

now once you unmute the level, a lot of things become a lot worse. this song is really bad, however it's one of lil darkies more listenable songs. i will say the song rep in some parts is decent but doesnt cover the fact that this song is dogshit. also this level is so fucking laggy oh my god the wave literally doesnt run at all LOL

now the thing that tanks this level the most, is that this is the "official eff sequel" ???????????????????????????? what does any of this level have to with eff??? endlevel made some of it??? there's one part that's just the same deco as eff at the end as like a flashback? or something idk man

this level is so far removed from eff it somehow bothers me and makes the level worse

this level holds a very special place in my heart for a lot of reasons

the main reason is that the first time ive ever been on the news (gdtoday) was because of this level. "22,222 stars and 222 demons on 2/22/22" is kinda the coolest thing ive ever done in this game tbh i might have peaked there. i was originally gonna do troll level but i couldnt beat it in time as it was too hard so i quickly scrambled to find something else to do instead and decided to do eff. returning back to this level, i decided to actually watch and play the level with all my biases removed and its honestly really good for its time. i think the designs and backgrounds work really well with each other and is probably endlevel's best early 2.1 level. the gameplay is also just astonishingly good despites its balancing, it flows so well and the click patterns are just incredible to execute. the level is also made a lot better by the song and that leads into my next reason for why its so special. i didnt discover bo burnham through this level but ive known him and have been a fan for a very long time, so to find a level that uses one of his best songs was really cool. not to like, trauma dump or anything but near the time i beat eff i would keep getting bullied by my friends and random gdtwt users for liking bo burnham and having him as my most streamed artist so i decided to try and force myself to stop liking him. i havent listened to a single burnham song in like almost 2 years now, and idk what to think about the whole situation, like do i regret it or not care. really not sure, but i do think i killed a big portion of the true theatre kid inside me. the reason i tell this story is kinda the 3rd reason why this level is special to me, as its sorta the one thing that theatre kid part of myself can still hold onto in secret, because i do really love this level
