Rating Curve

Not that it's a novel observation by any means, but it's still astounding that a level like this, which today can only be seen as "generic", was actually epic-worthy back then. Aggressively monochromatic.

More levels should look like this. It's an absolutely beautiful level, but unfortunately, the gameplay puts me off from ever beating it.

Repeats parts incredibly often, and not in a cool callback-y way.

Would be a brilliant level if it weren't for the wave part.

This level is a fine case study in how differently songs can be interpreted. For me, Neon Overdrive by Gboy has permanently engraved in my mind that the leadup to this song's drop should be fast and energetic, but this level, whose creator definitely knew about Neon Overdrive, looking at Hyper Swinging, interprets that part of the song completely differently, making it a calm part instead. Sometimes it's nice to see fresh perspectives on things you took for granted, even if it's found in an admittedly quite mediocre level.
