It's obviously very wacky, but unlike most early 2.2 levels, it's perfectly aware of how wacky it is, which makes it a very joyous experience. I feel like Wulzy toned down a lot of his signature flashy effects for this level, and it's all the better off for it. And hey, at least it doesn't use pixel blocks.
This level made me realize just how much the default 1x speed of pre-1.7 levels suits slower, more ambient songs. Could you imagine if, instead of the upbeat tunes that Geometry Dash's main levels are known for, it was more like this? Could you imagine?
