A neat 1.9 extreme demon featuring gameplay that is cleverly made to appear as though the player is teleporting between two halves of the screen. Unfortunately, it's quite short and doesn't quite end on a satisfying note. It would have been a lot nicer if the level either ended 15 seconds earlier or lasted a lot longer, until a more opportune moment in the song presented itself.

Is there any other level as profoundly disgusting as this? Sure, there are copious amounts of bad levels on the servers, but their atrociousness only goes skin deep; it's nothing like the visceral revulsion I feel when my eyes are forced to witness the resplendent foulness of Magma Bound. Everything about this level—from the way the horrid characters move around the screen with unnaturally bouncy tweens, practically begging the player to gaze upon their putrid likeness, to the gameplay, which at times feels like the creator just randomly shifted various structures around by half a block or so—serves to fill me with more antipathy than even the lowest of gross-out content. Man Man has straight-up gore and pornography, but it's so explicit that it ends up being more funny than anything. Magma Bound, on the other hand, doesn't even seem to realize how utterly revolting it is, and it repeatedly throws new and awful imagery at the player, all masked as a mere goofy art level. It's really no wonder that ScorchVx's true claim to fame would eventually be designing those grotesque Trollface modifications that we've all seen—now exclusively relegated to TikToks made by annoying preteens. Truly, a legacy they deserve.

Definitely the best level to come out of the Space Gauntlet contest.

Like a better (and harder) version of S P U E. It never wore out its gimmick of being exclusively black and white, but I do wish it'd retained some of the more subtle effects of its predecessor. Here, it's all rush, no downtime.

Now, I'm a big glow fan, but you're gonna need a bit more than just glow to make me like your level. Each individual part looks good, but the level as a whole feels directionless. Also, I am getting real sick and tired of Insidee's self-deprecating humor.

A pretty good-looking level. Its core design elements never change, but the specific facets of it are swapped out regularly, giving the level a fresh look around every corner. It's a shame some of the gameplay's a little unpolished.
