Been quite some time since I've touched upon a Cometface level since WELL RESTED, and while I'd lie saying this was anywhere that quality of that level, I still think it looks nice and plays well enough. It is a lot learnier than it looks with all the timings and unconventional click patterns, as well as lacking any indicators to sight-read the parts easily. Though I'm sure it's fine for not all levels to include indicators to always aid the player.

It also might be a tad annoying with some of the structuring and hitboxes being hard to make out which would lead to void clicks and a few chokepoints, but thankfully it is a level that dedicates you to practice it to remain consistent with those parts, and they are a lot of fun in the end. I especially like most of the beginning parts like the spider and the upside-down section after it, even if they did take time to get use to.

The one part I personally have gripes with is the ship in the middle. It could be because it's the kind of ship gameplay I'm not that use to or how the lack of indications make it hard to overall see the path, but it wasn't exactly the most fun part to practice or play even if it's not downright terrible. The part could either be nerfed a little bit or given a clearer path to make it feel more playable for players.

Happy that the level also didn't take me as long as I was fearing because of that ship part, as well as the ending feeling a little too chokeable than it should, since I did fluke it in the end. Other than that I still enjoyed this level to a good degree, even if it totally not for everyone.

Basically the Next Cab Soon level of the Space Gauntlet entries. Surprisingly a lot easier and more sight-readable than it looks and a lot of it looks really clean with the cartoony style it has, rather than the typical highly-detailed and technology-focused ones. I do find Ivashka’s part the weakest as it’s kinda hard to tell what is even happening in that part, but every other part has that overall style that I really dig into with these sort of megacollabs. Even the sound effects didn’t feel as distracting than they should.

I’m honestly going back and forth on what level I like the most now; this or Out of Place (as I kinda compare these levels for how pretty similar their art direction is). The latter goes more crazy and all out with its visuals and I do genuinely think it looks great and goes well with the song contributing to it, though I find it to be way too long and kinda lackluster with the gameplay in some sections. This one is less chaotic yet keeps the bizarre artwork, but does control it in a cleaner way compared to Out of Place, as well as giving you more to work with the gameplay by having a lot more faster moments. The middle section does drag on a little too long, but I do really like how the other parts looked anyway. Both levels give you this bizarre and trippy experience but in a much different way than the other, so it's kinda hard for me to really lock in what I’d prefer more.

Very cute and wholesome Space Gauntlet entry. It was between this and Abducted that goes for this comic-style theme to its visuals, and this one still looks visually impressive by having a different approach to that style. I prefer Abducted more for how much personality I think that level has, but this one also has a very appealing style with cool animations and art surrounding it, as well as gameplay that well compliments it for the most part. Maybe not the most fun and maybe a few moments were hard to read, but there wasn’t any frustration to get from it at all either. Happy to see it barely made the Top 20.
