Let me get the good stuff out of the way first: Pretty memorable. This has a great mysterious atmosphere around it. You're in a dark room and everything gets warped around before you venture into the abyss where you can observe some strange entity moving around in the background. During most of the drop your vision is obscured not by distinct, artificial structures, but by black spots that feel much more natural. Also the 77% cube syncs pretty well

Now for the bad: I am assuming this would've had different gameplay if it got verified for real (frankly I've considered verifying it myself and changing the GP) but for the time being this is AWFUL to play. Predrop is completely free. Then you get thrown into stupid segment after stupid segment and remember those black spots obscuring your vision? Yeah they really do make your life harder. It gets a bit easier as it goes and then you get to the aforementioned 77% cube and oh my god why is there this stupid fucking frame perfect timing (yes I tested) and man there's a reason I dropped this

Even this far back, nearly 4 years ago, in the level that really kickstarted or at least revived invisible gameplay, you can already see how easy it is to screw up. This has some good parts but they get weighed down by the bad. Invisible gameplay works best when you have something visible (and good) to really "attach" it to, and everywhere you don't have that feels incredibly boring.

My initial reaction to this was that it was "cool. knives are cool". 1 day later I look at it again and think "man this has way too much copy paste it's kinda boring". This level is from 2014 but it suffers from 2021 screenshot block deco syndrome

It's got a lot of iconic parts. First few clicks, the HOW? sign, buildup, drop ship, cube copter, the MINUSwave of course, hell even the text above is recognizeable to me at least. That being said, both parts of the last cube are pretty boring and repetitive despite their iconicity. Also the unsynced pulses in the drop ship tick me off.

I would rate this higher if the otherwise interesting color usage wasn't ruined by one of the worst updates a level has gotten. There aren't many brown levels and this had a nice sort of wooden feel to a lot of parts, best described as like an unfinished minecraft house that hasn't been given proper lighting yet. Then this got updated to have a black screen over everything and it feels like someone failed at color-picking gray and didn't realize, alongside making everything else generally worse. Why would you do that

Good concept and execution. It's especially made the wr progression on this interesting to watch over the years. However aside from that this really doesn't have much to offer. Very basic deco and sync but not in a "elegant simplicity" kind of way

Absolutely beautiful atmosphere, I love it. It reminds me of looking up at the stars peeking out from behind clouds when I lived in a more rural area. I could stay here for ages, just staring at-

Why do you gotta do this? No I understand you wanna make it top 1, but surely there must've been a better way? Like can't you just make it slower but tighter? It's not like that would've been too hard to do, right?

Also how the fuck did you screw up the sync like this. Like did a speed portal get moved by accident or something

You can't even get a third of the way into this level before it stops being purple like surely it can't be that hard to follow instructions

Better than level easy for sure. Aside from that though this is definitely one of those "huh, that's cool, whatever" levels you rarely give a second thought. Some bonus points for that last clubstep monster being god tier, at least
