Never even happened. I was having a psychotic break

Y'know with Tron there's at least the possibility that Funnygame could come back at some point, and he was already on the decline for years beforehand. But this? Zobros was already long dead before this came out. There's more of a sense of finality here. It's the official sequel to fucking Nine Circles for crying out loud, and that's what makes the failure of this level so much more painful.

I could go into detail about all the issues with the deco, the sync, and (most infamously) the gameplay, but quite frankly none of that matters when the whole vibe is off in a sequel to one of the best and most famous levels ever.

I realized something recently... I... I think... I like women...

This level was so bad it made me a better creator. I started thinking to myself, "am I making this level for a good reason?", and I realized that oftentimes, I was in fact not making a level for a good reason, and that you, the reader, might not be making a level for a good reason either. Some people might find the concept of "a good reason" for making a level idiotic or even offensive, but it will prevent you from making abominations like this and many others.

No update is going to save this btw. Conceptually bad levels like this are not improved by adding new designs and whatnot.

The difference between APTeam's and Ossy's versions of Cosmic Cyclone is the difference between a big team working to try to make something with mass appeal and the independent artist unashamed of anything that others may not like in their masterpiece.

As opposed to Wasureta, a level I'm unsure of how to rate, this is something I've felt the same about ever since the start: nothing good.

Does not feel like Wasureta, and when it does it's to make the bad parts worse. Deco is either generic or just off-putting (drcuber, why did you make everything look like a cactus?). Everything about this is forgettable and boring. Song does not help here, in fact it really drags this further down. Animated art endscreens were already getting overdone at the time but this one isn't even visually interesting

That's all bad, but y'know what really ticked me off from the start? "Official sequel". I don't care that it doesn't have that label anymore. Wasureta was never Augi's, Helpegasus', or anyone other than Crazen's, and I hate the way the community acts about level ownership every single time this sort of thing happens. Wherwin always was and always will be right about the school shooting and I'm tired of pretending he wasn't

It's 2017. DollarC has just uploaded a preview of Sunix's upcoming "Unnamed Circles" megacollab. Set to be harder than Sonic Wave, with a great song, high speed and intense waves, some crazy orb gameplay, and the one decorated part so far is great. This is going to be something special

It's 2020. "SoulBreaker" is finally out, apparently, and oh my god it sucks. How do you make something this bad. Was every single decorator aside from ItzSept blind??? Most of these parts aren't just "oh they're amateur creators without much experience" bad, no, anyone can look at these and immediately see that they're ugly as hell. All the basic rules of visual design and even comprehension seem to have been thrown out the window while unpleasant gradients are allowed through the front door. Negative cohesion between parts. Visual bugs show up all the time, much like how the gameplay is full of its own bugs. You really gotta question how this many people simultaneously looked at what they made and thought "yeah, this is good enough" all within the same level.

If you asked me to pick a level that needs a remake, this would definitely be near the top of the list, just a complete wase of potential

A dumpster fire made of forgettable and boring parts with random and forced references to its predecessor. It doesn't even feel like it was made with the personal kind of spite I assume it was made with because hybrid just generally doesn't seem passionate about making his megacollabs good. All of that is compounded by the fact that the level this was made to spite happens to be a personal favorite

The GD equivalent of human trafficking

Nothing good and everything bad. Generic flow gp that just happens to be buffed to hell and tries to disguise itself as an already fake "experimental style", the amount of memorable gameplay "parts" in this amount to less than a second because anything that could've been interesting gets cut off after a single measure of that god-awful song. The theme of "Guys look its Hello Kitty but EVIL!! Isn't that crazy?!" fucking sucks. Lexy's style and design philosophy in general feels like what you'd get if aliens tried to make an artificial copy of Icedcave in a lab and they didn't really get how humans worked. Flashing colors are both metaphorically and also literally an eyesore and the colors themselves are ugly and I can't see shit. On top of all of that I don't like either of the creators just as people. I feel like this level was analytically designed to made me mad
