The official sequel to Bloodbath is here: Yatagarasu. It's got top-notch decoration, all your favorite creators, iconic part after iconic part, years of history, and even one of the first real "level mascots". This is the extreme demon to end all extreme demons, everyone loves it, the hype is unreal, and then...
It's been nerfed to the ground. The promised difficulty and final result aren't even comparable. The eternal unbeatable level gets its first few victors in a matter of days and gets moved down after a couple months.
The drama dies down, time moves on, and it slowly drifts down the list, but nobody dared to touch this version. The sheer scale of its difficulty was way beyond what anyone could do for years on end. As a result, this has gained a sort of mystical aura and reputation to me over time.
Oh and then Zoink verified it in 8k attempts and it would've been barely top 10 if rated lmao
Above average but the camera controls break with my screen's resolution
Y'know those paintings that are just individual colors or maybe a couple rectangles? The ones that always get praised by a specific type of guy for "deconstructing the medium"? I think they suck. Its the same shit over and over again, and that's kinda how I feel about this level. It's not cool or interesting that you're doing the same shit as deadpxrnstars which was just the same shit as say less which is just the same shit as random recent tab levels, and it isn't interesting that your level is meaningless. If you're looking for a bunch of disconnected ideas without rhyme or reason like this, then frankly you're better off with Cloup or some other level of that type
People were always amazed by the electric effect, but I just never got it. Even as a kid it was always "yeah it's cool but whatever". The part immediately afterwards is the only thing that's actually good, and a lot of the other parts are honestly just bad
This suffers from the same issue as Every End does in that you kinda have to change the gamemode if you wanna stay interesting for the whole duration of the song. Definitely not as big of an issue as it is in Every End since there's still a decent amount of variation, but it's still not enough and it doesn't have anything super great going for it to make up for that
This is one of those levels where every once in a while I go back and try playing it again for a bit and then remember why I dropped it
Another level I've talked about extensively elsewhere so I wont bother repeating myself
