overhated level imo. for its time the theming is pretty cool and the gameplay's pretty fun save a few transitions. the predrop is kinda boring but it does build up pretty well to the drop, which i like a lot. the inconsistent speed, while really annoying before, was pretty cool and tbh not that bad to deal with for a 6-7* (though it's been nerfed since to be more fair and it's fine too). was a little disappointed that radiationv2 was essentially forced to change it because it was really cool and fit the song pretty well but it is what it is. it's a cool level with cool theming !!
i really like the concept of this a lot, really tests your control. checkpoint placement is decently sparse, which does make for a more thrilling experience. it can be pretty frustrating at times though as one small mistake and you reset back to the checkpoint. i like this about the level but it's definitely not for everyone. deco's nothing to write home about but it is pretty clean, i like it quite a bit. good level
average early 2.1 art level where like three fourths of the time 95% of the effort went into the art weirdly looming in the background and 5% into everything else. gotta love em. it is early 2.1 so i can't judge too hard though
also please don't make the background be completely static it looks awful at least make it move a little across the screen dammit
my perception of the word "buddy" has been completely ruined by the bollar of dill. ever since I found out this account wasn't an actual person i've never been able to trust a single person. not even my family, not even my friends, not even myself. this level is responsible for my loss of sense of self. and for that, I cannot fathom awarding this level anything higher than a 2. but you know what? it doesn't even deserve that either. this level spit in my face and kicked me down the stairs. this level fills me with incredulous rage. I hate you bollardills
idk i'm not nearly as burnt on the "realistic" style as most so I was able to thoroughly enjoy this. technically first hard demon but it feels like a high medium imo. i really like apocalyptic levels like this one and I really like the different locations this level takes you to. gameplay is highly obscured by the deco, especially in the climax, and while I do agree that this does make it decently annoying to die at I do think the base gameplay gets pretty fun when you practice. big fan of chaotic levels like this and while I did have a few annoying deaths I did enjoy myself here. good level
beat this for first hard demon (not counting anarchy road which IS a medium demon). had a really good time with this! decoration is nothing to write home about, but I do really dig the 1.9-ish aesthetic mixed with some 2.1 features. gameplay is really really fun though, playing around with different gameplay combinations (ufo-ship dual is a highlight). good stuff from jammmmmmmmmm
not a level I think i'd want to play (xxls and slow levels are both not my thing) but I love watching this level. the progression with the song is immaculately represented in this level (starting from simple reds and oranges to complex structures of blue), especially with the height progression ending at the absolute (2.1) top of the level. I love atmospheric levels like this, and I also like music like this, and this level combines both exceptionally. I haven't beaten this level, and I don't know when I will, but it is a really good experience. love this!!!!!!
really really cool and chill neodesign level. love the atmosphere in this one and it goes well with the song. love how everything connects together. last part is kinda unappealing imo but it's an interesting concept. nothing all too special but if there's any level i'd love to be able to make myself it's probably this one. good Stuff!
peak level. the city aesthetic already is incredibly strong. i'm a big fan of both puueds and dangerkat's art styles and they mesh well together here well. I love construction themed stuff in general so this one is right up my alley. base gameplay is pretty fun too, save the 28% ball spam which is mildly annoying. all this would be enough for about an 8, but the main gimmick of the level - finding swag (and style) routes - is SO cool. I love levels that incorporate intentional optional paths like this and the design of the level, with the "SWAG" progress bar and the counter at the end, does this idea justice. sunk a good amount of attempts to get a "P" rank (19/18 swag, 6/6 style) and it was well worth. highly recommend this level (and puueds's stuff in general, he's a great creator). good stuff!
concept alone is enough to give it a 10, I love the existence of this level as an experiment rather than an actual thing. unfortunately from what I heard spu7nix changed some stuff to make it possible so I gotta drop it by a point but this is an insanely cool project.
