An underwhelming experience for me. I don't really like the inconsistencies in art styles between parts and within the parts themselves, and the gameplay constantly shifted from really easy cube sections to random bursts of fast, difficult passages. Just generally did not have a good time with this level at all, not much for me to chew on. Jud innocent.
Very fulfilling level with great progression. Some parts could use some touchups visual-wise, particularly Balloon's part and the final part. Others work supremely well and take full advantage of the theme and song like YoReid, Grax, and especially Presta's part. Gameplay wise, I would have wished for a different approach with Grax's part. I really enjoy that the gameplay goes downward in parallel with descending into the earth's core, and when we enter the ?????? zone, it was really neat seeing the reverse portal used. Personally I would have gone further and make these subsequent parts even stranger, but I guess with being a World Gauntlet entry they needed to keep the level somewhat accessible.
Very fun platforming that first took a bit to get used to, but got very consistent with increased playthrough. IMO a kind of underrated platformer gem considering it's one of the first levels to go all out with gradients. I would have preferred some better color choices and theming in some parts though, like maybe colder colors for the ice section. RN the colors are a bit all over the place.
Fun level from Smoop. I really like the sleekness, polish; everything here looks very pretty. I also really like the color change from pink/yellow combos to something bluer and more monochrome, almost like the level is telling you things are "running out of time". Lots of very neatly done motion graphics as well, I can only wish to pull off some of these effects and transitions myself.
There's some tiny gripes I have with this level. I wish the level was exactly a minute to really drive in its message, although I know that would require changing a bunch of stuff. I'm not too big of a fan of some of the designs like the city part at around 30% where I feel like it could benefit from some better use of depth. I would also like to see a bit more thematic focus to really hit on the messages of what a "minute" represents. Perhaps this could be tied to the gameplay as well, which mostly seems like something along for the ride rather than an integral component.
