Really excessive and disorienting in a way that does not feel fully-realized, instead feeling very incoherent. There are brief moments where I am quite intrigued; maybe a gameplay mechanic, a good animation, or an interesting design, but these are nowhere near enough to pull everything together. I feel a very similar way to how I felt about other levels like Space Invaders, Casino Blitz, Starbladesaster. These levels try to overwhelm the player with all these flashing movements and pulses, but they try to do it in the least amount of effort possible so the effect ends up feeling super hollow. I feel like I should feel as if I'm entering a new dimension 2001 Space Odyssey style, but instead I can see through the bells and whistles; what's left is a husk. I wouldn't be so frustrated about this particular level if it weren't for the fact that I can see glimpses of Rafer's talent here.

I can admire that the coin paths had a lot of creativity and thought put into them, but at that point, I feel like some of these coin path ideas might as well be in the main path instead. Aside from the expectation of being a Rafer level, the level gives you very little motivation to actually hunt for the coins.

Just not a huge fan of the way they went with this concept. I think its really cool to make a level that essentially serves as a compilation of a bunch of different styles from all walks of life. It's like looking at the Golden Record's contents, a myriad of different lived experiences. But this concept is at odds with the "Top 1 Platformer Demon" and needle gameplay. So the resulting effect is a level that most will just watch on YouTube instead. I understand the allure of making some sort of behemoth in scale and difficulty, but surely this could have been done without making it completely inaccessible to most players. Something like Floating Outskirt's gameplay progression would have worked wonders, where it gets exponentially harder over time.

I wanted to bring this minigame as an example of something that really blurs the lines between what is and isn't a minigame. After 2.2 I feel like this definition has become really ambiguous. Are all platformers minigames? Do minigames need custom physics? If any form of GD exists within the minigame, does that invalidate it from being a minigame? My personal stance is that something like Really Fun Baseball constitutes as a minigame because even though it uses default icons, they are nothing more than visual indicators for gameplay that is completely different from base GD. Of course, the fact that it uses GD icons makes it much closer to that threshold of not being a minigame than something like Wretched. I imagine the minigame definition will be solidified over time.

Not much to say about the actual level though. Yeah it plays bad. Yeah that was probably the joke. This is a joke level. Wouldn't say I'll be revisiting though. But even at its current state, it is a genuinely fairer game than some of the absolutely horrendous rated minigames I had to endure through in 2.1.

Just kinda boring tbh. I thing some of the designs are neat but Tartarus kind of does everything better. For an extreme demon of this difficulty, everything visually just feels so inert... just so lifeless.

I honestly like this a good bit more than Dead Device. I thought the randomized RobTop levels in the beginning were a nice detail, and a lot of the animations and set-pieces are of a higher quality. It doesn't exactly feel like it's just rehashing stuff with little merit, it's trying to do something. But I can't really say I enjoy it beyond that. It was made for YouTube. It was made for the Waboo contest.

Imoxi has a lot of talent and after building flash zer ker 2 I can appreciate the things that were executed here. With that said yeah this is just not it. It just feels hollow. I don't think this is the worst thing ever made though, it can be way way worse.
