Wonderful atmosphere and decoration that holds up a decade later. Unfortunately the gameplay is pretty bad. While it definitely supports the overall claustrophobic atmosphere, it suffers from being pretty boring to play. The first part is definitely the hardest part which can be very annoying. It's functional but just pretty bad.

I remember beating this back in 2016. It was probably in my top 3-5 hardest at the time, so it was quite the challenge. Let's go over some positives:

With Xtrullor emerging as one of the top artists for GD levels in 2.0, this song was always my favorite for having varying levels of intensity throughout the song. With that being said, this probably has my favorite usage of the song out of any level outside of the original Fusion Z. The level perfectly uses the part of the song all the way through. The use of the break between the first two drops as a sort of intense finale section is perfect. A decent amount of the gameplay is pretty fun too, specifically some parts of the drop.

It's definitely not all perfect. The ending, while incredibly intense thanks to the atmosphere brought on by the visuals and nature of the gameplay, is one of the most inconsistent and frustrating experiences I've had with a level. The last memory section in particular has horrible gameplay in my opinion. The visuals in some parts as well are certainly dated and/or didn't wow me at the time of playing it either.

With that being said, I can't deny that this level will hold a special place in my heart for when I first started grinding levels in this game. Certainly a classic for me - in a cult-classic kind of way.
