For me this fulfills the hype that's often promised with Firewall. While the visuals are definitely not as flashy, the gameplay is much more exciting. More importantly, the predrop isn't an absolute pain to play through.

Before Duelo Maestro in 2.0, there was Horntail Cave in 1.9. In my opinion it's paced pretty perfectly: upping the speed into a final test with a 2-player dual. The theming is pretty great too, if a little too dark sometimes. The art is also impressive. The leave the gameplay to hold it back the most unforunately. It's nothing too offensive, but there are occasionally some awkward parts to it like the UFO section. Overall, a pretty good level from 1.9 that doesn't get the recognition it deserves.

It's pretty good. Overall Metalface always has an interesting take on NC levels - muting the flashiness of the wave effect and focusing more on the sync-based gameplay. Mainly the predrop is what I have a problem with. Some parts are rather annoying, and it goes on for a little too long in general. Still decently fun.

Probably one of the most "what if" levels I've beaten. Sigma Interface has unintentionally one of the most unique concepts for an extreme: What if the entire level was a predrop? It doesn't actually play as bad as it sounds since it's still plenty difficult and manages to pace itself with three distinct parts of the level. It even has a psuedo-drop two-thirds into the gameplay. The visuals and song choice I don't mind either. Maybe I have too much tolerance or something, but I found this pretty alright. It's just a shame that the development of this level just kind-of stopped and had to get released unfinished. I am hopeful for the revised version that is apparently still in development.

Pretty solid level from a team whose core would go on to make Cosmic Calamity. I doubt many people even remember this level existing, but it's one of those really diverse megacollabs that don't really have any sort of coherent theme. Really I miss these types of levels because it allowed for creators to really do what they liked, and seeing creators that appear in multiple levels like this let you sort of build a profile of what type of creator they are. While these types of levels aren't really seen nowadays, I can definitely understand why this is the case.

Gone are the days of levels thrown together where some parts show a great discipline. in creating while others are frankly either unpolished or low in quality. Gone are the mainstream collabs that give you whiplash with how different each part is in terms of both gameplay and decoration. It's really a shame, but I can't say that the new more "manufactured" megacollabs from dedicated creating teams are much worse. Ultimately this type of level very much exists in a more underground amateur sort of environment, and they're very fun to see happen, but there's no denying that they have pretty glaring issues in execution and sometimes lack direction.
