Starbladesaster is a disappointing Space Gauntlet contest entry.

After hearing about this level’s flaws, I decided to get my first impression from playing it instead of watching it, and I’m glad I did, because this is mind-numbingly boring to play — over half of the level is auto. I’ve never seen a level so confidently proclaim that it’s only meant to be watched, which can also be seen by how overbearing the camera controls are. The decoration feels like it’s trying too hard, and while it’s not irredeemable, it doesn’t work well for me. Also, separating the level into acts like Change of Scene comes off as corny and is not nearly as effective here.

The vibes are off the charts!

Clubstep but it looks worse and feels even easier at times? I can’t give this any credit unless they rebuilt it by hand, but even then…
