chu chu copy is one of few levels in this game to make me L.O.L. (for those not keeping up, that stands for laughing out loud!)
Even though Unnamed 1 is ferr’s first uploaded level, it fails to meet even my most basic expectations.
The level opens with poorly structured blocks and already we’re off to a bad start. The level has zero visual cohesion, switching from Clutterfunk blocks to regular slopes to white spikes to regular spikes. The difficulty is all over the place as well, ranging from your simple Stereo Madness jump to a silent timing. The slope before the triple spike gives the false impression that you are supposed to jump off of it to gain enough height, but this is simply not the case, which is unnecessarily cruel to the player.
I hope to see this creator improve with their next attempt.
It’s a neat challenge to have been legitimately verified, but it’s just invisible Deadlocked…
Over Again is one of the most ambitious and creative levels I’ve ever played, and nails pretty much everything it was going for.
I was initially scared away when I saw this in the sent tab — not because of anything wrong with it, I’m just slow — but I decided to give it another try recently, and while I likely wouldn’t have made it to the end without the help I received, you can’t expect every puzzle to hold your hand. I’m glad I got to piece things together and learn this level’s narrative. The visuals aren’t groundbreaking, but I think they complement the level perfectly, hence the score. One of my new favorites :)
It sucks that I don’t like the intro, but other than that I have no complaints. Temple of Time nails everything it set out to do, and I think that’s cool!
