i remember seeing neiro showcase of this before anyone was verifying it i think, and after 3 minutes i just clicked off the video, because frankly the level looked identical for 7 minutes and was just a blur to me. the only valid explanation i can see for the mythic and legendary sends this level got is The Comatose Theory: if the (not that interesting) level is a decade long, suddenly everyone will call it mythic worthy
generally a nothing burger, at least it uses more than two colors ig
also gotta love how the endscreen takes up 20% of the whole level, and the host made an ama reddit post about the level before it was finished, and i said "why don't you turn off auto safe mode, then use noclip, pause and turn on Instant Complete right before the endscreen so the % ends there?" and he was like "it's just 10% bro" and he ignored all my other replies. brilliant!
some people still call this their favorite level or mythic worthy. it's not.
it has an embarrassing object count, even for 2.1. the game would crash for many players who tried to open it without ldm
it's clear the collab host was new to his job. it looks like he just gave everyone the prompt "cool nature and stuff" and dipped, because each part is a different creator's interpretation of that. there isn't much cohesion or consistency in the style, direction of whatever the level is trying to do or show you, or anything.
many parts, including culuc's somehow, look so blurry/unclear it's just insane. like in some parts it just looks like they messed up the color settings on their monitor or some settings in reshade and then it looks either too yellow or too blurry or just awful. it's probably because of excessive/irrational use of glow or other things. so this level turns out to be an excellent example of how not to use glow (or make a collab)
the gameplay is really forgiving and not anything special, but the obstructive and unclear deco makes most of the 'difficulty' and makes it learny (in a bad way). which isn't very good
if culuc didn't have a part in this level, then no one would give a shit about it, and rightfully so. it's not even as mindblowing anymore. also on full detail, for me the rest of the level actually ran suprisingly okay, but then his part went down to like 5 fps. so uh yeah great ending for the level. he's the only reason this level is popular. you should not be calling a whole level good just because of one part
mid overrated level
So I was playing mr crazyhands the other day and my crazy hands said have you ever been to the scream room? it melts your mind and i was thinking sometimes i feel like my mind is melting but i have never been to the screamroom. this makes me wonder. why does mr crazy hands been to the scream room? i have never seen a room scream. is he crazy? maybe i think the mind is melt because ive been to the cream room. scream is melt and mind is room. this only begs question. if crazy hands is screaming room, why is melt mr mind? i dont mr mind melt. melt crazy mind hands. crazy mind hands become liqiud? drink hand mines hand is melt, mr melt is mind. mr crazy is mined melty hands. scream
mediocre beginner extreme with the same pastel deco copy pasted throughout, as well as the god damned 41% double click which i can't understand how the creator was able to consistently do on mobile (and no, the skip isn't any more consistent). at least the ship parts are free though. if you can't figure out 41% either, consider Anya III instead, it's very similar to this level but better in about every way
