Kino

This has barely any sync and yet it manages to fit the song beautifully (mostly).

The predrop is calm and peaceful, while the drop feels "cinematic", more or less. The translucent designs really help you appreciate the backgrounds (themselves cinematic) and both the wide open vertical gameplay and the totally horizontal wave spams/straight fly manage to fit the tone perfectly. My complaint though is that the transitions feel very sudden. The visual changes are just jarring and they definitely hold this back from what it could've been

There was a point at which I would've called this one of my favorite levels and looking back I'm not entirely sure how I ignored its flaws so much. There are plenty of good parts but there's also a lot of weak points, mostly in tandem with the quality of the creator being mimicked. Also the execution is generally fine but sometimes it's just missing something (KrmaL and Thycket come to mind). Still good though and thankfully this doesn't really fall into the "someone's style=their most popular level" trap that so many other creators have gotten stuck in.

Fun and creative gameplay, cool effects and creatures, just generally intense and high energy like the song.

Some great and trippy effects, you can't find much like this, especially nowadays. Probably the best use of invisible GP out there (but definitely not perfect at it)

GD equivalent of Ben Franklin's letter about older women

Sometimes when you read about historical figures you kind of forget that they were humans too. It's quite funny and honestly kind of powerful to find out that they had their own weird jokes, hobbies, and opinions, and I can't think of too many other levels that have given me the same feeling as that. At the end of the day, your favorite mysterious players were just random dudes having fun with the game, making wacky levels with in-jokes for their friends.

Gameplay fucking sucks though. Completely free except for the 61% corridor and the wave

Always remember to stay safe, sane, and consensual during BDSM

Another level I already talked about in a video description. tl;dr fun if you're a masochist who wants to be tortured in the predrop and get sweet aftercare later

A product of its time both for better and worse. The first ball is still crazy good despite being so short. As levels have transitioned to having more precise sync we've all collectively agreed to make the player hit portals at the same spot every time, but there's also definitely something that was lost with that. I like the way the lights flicker on and off throughout the predrop. The proto-icedcave monster is fucking legendary (not as good as its evolution though). The designs throughout are surprisingly good especially for Cyrillic standards however they kind of fall apart at the 1st drop wave and ufo due to the colors. Y'know how the Albanian flag violates the rule of tincture? Yeah that's what it reminds me of. The mazes themselves are boring and it's pretty annoying that the level ends so soon (surely you could've put the unused gameplay in there somewhere?) but I love the border designs on the maze entrances/exits, especially with how the cube portal gets highlighted.

Surprisingly, I don't hate this, never really have. It's got some good sync, especially in regards to capturing changes in intensity. Also pretty fun for practice runs, at least when the screen isn't black. Probably for the best that this is so short though because it is a bit repetitive

Very odd level.

I am glad the dream in the intro was added because 1. it's cute and 2. long auto intro begone. I also like the recurring hexagon auto part effect room motif thing. Then you get this random ice segment which, I can't lie, it is cool, but why is it in here? I still absolutely love the way the boss' eyes pulse into the darkness but aside from that the boss really isn't good. What's even the story here anyway? Is this the orange spirit's nightmare about their abusive father? Why are there hanging corpses everywhere? How did Serponge fuck up the sync in that ufo so bad? So many questions

Really solid designs and good effects and great art. Copy paste and questionable gameplay kinda hold this back though
