Pretty solid level from a team whose core would go on to make Cosmic Calamity. I doubt many people even remember this level existing, but it's one of those really diverse megacollabs that don't really have any sort of coherent theme. Really I miss these types of levels because it allowed for creators to really do what they liked, and seeing creators that appear in multiple levels like this let you sort of build a profile of what type of creator they are. While these types of levels aren't really seen nowadays, I can definitely understand why this is the case.

Gone are the days of levels thrown together where some parts show a great discipline. in creating while others are frankly either unpolished or low in quality. Gone are the mainstream collabs that give you whiplash with how different each part is in terms of both gameplay and decoration. It's really a shame, but I can't say that the new more "manufactured" megacollabs from dedicated creating teams are much worse. Ultimately this type of level very much exists in a more underground amateur sort of environment, and they're very fun to see happen, but there's no denying that they have pretty glaring issues in execution and sometimes lack direction.

A level that I can appreciate for recreating Michigun's temple series, but that's where most of my praise comes from. While the updated visuals of such old levels are welcome editions, the gameplay being relatively the same is not. Maybe that's just an unfortunate truth that gameplay from such a bygone era just does not nearly hold up as people try to say it does, no matter how legendary or iconic the level is. I think the Temple series should be remembered for its excellent theming that wasn't really pulled off in that fashion at the time. And although I respect DavJT for remaining pretty faithful to the series, the consequence of remaining faithful is a level that I would much rather watch someone beat rather than beat myself because of how flawed the gameplay is.

A level that really needs to go back to the drawling board with its ideas. The loose gameplay style that spans all over the screen is something that I like, but it's implementation is just down-right atrocious in my opinion. The visuals that immediately became dated accompany unbalanced and overall frustratingly bad gameplay. Sorry Dorami.

Definitely an intense drop that was satisfying and fun to play through... if you can y'know, get to it. This was one of the first levels I played that I found "boring" simply because the predrop was not only very difficult, but had pretty uninteresting gameplay. Once you get to the drop it's great! The visuals are definitely classic Hinds and plays well enough. But there needed to be more thought in that predrop because it really got on my nerves having to play through 30 seconds of pretty boring gameplay just to have fun with the level.

Really bad. I remember 9Step suffering a lot of the same issues that this level did, but not to this high of a degree. The gameplay is unfathomably frustrating, and there's little to no satisfaction upon getting passed all of it except the idea of not having the play the level again. The first ship part is probably my favorite part, but that's pretty much where all my compliments for the level end. There's not much you can really do with a superbuffed ToE, but this was released in 2.0. Surely something could've spiced it up.

Level is nearly a perfect short-'n-sweet type of level that gets a lot of things right in my opinion. I really enjoy the first ~70% of the level. Even with the ship part at the drop being considerably unbalanced compared to the rest of the level. Although Pennutoh's part certainly lowers the overall quality, I don't think it's bad. It just throws things off a little. Overall still a neat little level.

Some would consider this an overrate, but I really think there aren't really many levels like effot. While some of the gameplay is sometimes unintuitive and buggy, man is it satisfying to go through. The last wave is also very challenging to the rest of the level in my opinion, making this a pretty fun experience overall.

I remember beating this back in 2016. It was probably in my top 3-5 hardest at the time, so it was quite the challenge. Let's go over some positives:

With Xtrullor emerging as one of the top artists for GD levels in 2.0, this song was always my favorite for having varying levels of intensity throughout the song. With that being said, this probably has my favorite usage of the song out of any level outside of the original Fusion Z. The level perfectly uses the part of the song all the way through. The use of the break between the first two drops as a sort of intense finale section is perfect. A decent amount of the gameplay is pretty fun too, specifically some parts of the drop.

It's definitely not all perfect. The ending, while incredibly intense thanks to the atmosphere brought on by the visuals and nature of the gameplay, is one of the most inconsistent and frustrating experiences I've had with a level. The last memory section in particular has horrible gameplay in my opinion. The visuals in some parts as well are certainly dated and/or didn't wow me at the time of playing it either.

With that being said, I can't deny that this level will hold a special place in my heart for when I first started grinding levels in this game. Certainly a classic for me - in a cult-classic kind of way.

Arguably the best-aging extreme demon from 2017. Extremely learny but never feels unfair with surprisingly tasteful decoration that holds up to this day.

Easily my favorite level in the game. Extremely fun gameplay, clean visuals, great song choice. A wonderful challenge.
