cool but i died at the end so its not a 10 anymore
platformer mode in this game kind of sucks. most of the reason for that is because of lots of bugs, errors, missing nessescary features and other things. for example, ice/slope physics continuing in midair when you jump, which is awful. when you leave such objects, regardless of how you do it, you will pretty much pernamently be slow as shit until you land on a normal object
with such frustrating bug in mind, a jump king type level with slopes should be carefully designed. but right off the bat i am not impressed here. immediately, i see that the pixel deco uses lots of large scaling and warp and looks ass. there is also a pixel shader, strong enough to make the text at the start of the level unreadable. did the creator just not care about that?
and i didn't even play this level for more than a minute, but the following decision is unforgivable. this creator enabled ice physics on slopes. specifically, the sideways 22.5° ones, which do not have any kind of special physics at that rotation. but hooray now i feel like i have inconsistent control over my player and the level feels like shit!!! great job. i checked the comments to see if i'm overreacting, but evidently i'm not, people who beat it have all the same complaints
cool. gameplay is irrationally easy though, the flashing didn't bother me, but i would've enjoyed it more if it was challenging
not fun, perhaps i suck, but every death basically feels like when you lose your alignment in a ufo part (super unsatisfying). gameplay is evidently really easy though. deco and everything else is just alright, like ok it exists i guess
