Easily the worst of them, I hate superbuffed versions of existing gameplay conceptually and this just has no reason to exist on top of all the others. And it honestly looks worse than Auditory Breaker...
Actually a pretty good parody to be honest. It doesn't take itself all that seriously and feels made to take the piss out of the other existing remakes. But it's still a Sonic Wave remake...
Sonic Wave, but they made it glowy. Lazer's style is actually quite good for the Nine Circles style structuring but it's just such an uninteresting concept to begin with that I can't even care that much.
Why are there so many remakes of specifically Sonic Wave man. There's nothing interesting about this level.
It really wants to be zirokabi and takes a lot of concepts straight from that level but never fully commits to it.
I mean I guess this exists. It's the same level with a new look, but the look is nice and has enough neat little details, and still keeps a similar energy as the original.
Takes the "paper world" concept and dials it up to 11 in the best ways possible. Nasgubb's creativity and love for the original bleeds through in this level, so many concepts such as the empty transition being a treasure map or the inclusion of non-paper creative surfaces like chalkboards and textiles were super awesome. The gameplay is really fun and feels super TamaN-y while still being distinct. It would be perfect if the last parts weren't fairly weak, I would've liked to see more expansions on previous ideas. (a tablet screen perhaps? just spitballing)
Another entry in the category of "level that's the same as the original but done with modern knowledge/techniques", but I honestly feel a bit differently if it's the same creator remaking the level. It feels more like a revisiting of a concept, a love letter to the original almost. Sadly it's kind of almost the exact same level but it's a decent B-side of sorts..
They just built a design level on top of similar-but-not-the-same gameplay from the original. Doesn't really explore any of the themes set in the original, doesn't push anything new or captivating, it's just a design level.
